Process & Technology Review
Before anyone builds anything, it helps to know what you are actually running. We map how work flows through your business, inventory the software behind it and tell you where the time and money are going.
What does the review cover?
The review looks at the process first and the technology second. Sidekick Digital sits with the people doing the work, follows a job from the first enquiry through to the final invoice, and writes down every place where information gets re-entered, waits on somebody, or falls through.
Alongside that we build an inventory of the software you pay for, including the subscriptions that went on somebody's card three years ago. Two tools doing the same job is a common find, as is a third nobody has opened since the person who set it up moved on.
Process mapping
We trace how work actually moves, not how the manual says it should. Interviews with the people doing it, and a written map of each step, handoff and wait.
Software inventory and spend
Every application in use, what it costs annually, who relies on it and where two of them overlap. Often the fastest win in the whole engagement.
Opportunities, ranked
A prioritised list of what to simplify, connect, automate or retire, with the effort and the likely payback for each. Steps worth removing outright come first.
A roadmap you own
The written findings, the measures we would use to tell whether a change worked, and a sequence to follow. It is yours to keep, and yours to hand to anyone you like.
Do I have to use you for the work afterwards?
No. The review is a standalone piece of work and the findings are written so another provider, or your own team, could act on them. Carrying on into automation and integration or a managed automation arrangement is a decision to make once you have seen the findings rather than before.
